General conditions for pre-registration of visitors and participation in the SITEM trade fair

Preamble

You are using the SITEM trade fair visitor pre-registration service set up by our service provider, the company Evenmaker.

These General Conditions apply to any pre-registration request made online by a user (hereinafter the “Client”) from the website 

https://www.sitem-2025.fr/en  (hereinafter the “Site”), and are intended to define the conditions for requesting pre-registration to participate, as a visitor, in the SITEM trade fair (hereinafter the “Trade Fair”), organized by MUSEUMEXPERTS (hereinafter the “Company”).

These general terms and conditions may be modified at any time at the initiative of the Company. Any modification of these general terms and conditions as well as of the documents to which reference is made will be communicated to the Client during his first use of the Site after this modification.

Pre-registration request terms and conditions

Prior to any pre-registration request, the Client expressly acknowledges having read these general conditions, and accepts them without reservation, by checking the box "I have read and accept the general conditions of pre-registration and participation" before clicking on "Validate my request".

Lounge access tickets

It is expressly specified that the access titles sold on the Site (hereinafter the “Access Titles”) **** are reserved for professionals.

Price

The prices of the Access Tickets are expressed in euros excluding tax and will, in accordance with the applicable legal and regulatory provisions, be increased by value added tax at the current rate.

Payment

Access Tickets are payable upon ordering.

All orders, regardless of their origin, are payable in euros.
Payment for Access Tickets must be made online, using a bank card.
The cards accepted for payment of an order are the Carte Bleue / Visa and Eurocard / Mastercard network cards.

The bank card will be debited for the value of the total amount of the order, upon final validation of the order.

Please note that the debit of the bank card is independent of the actual printing of badges or the withdrawal of other items.

As an exception, “Group” type customers holding a code provided by the Company and enabling them to be identified as such, may pay for their orders by transfer or by check addressed to the Company 7 days before each edition of the trade fairs.

Checks made out to MUSEUMEXPERTS and copies of transfer notices must be sent to the following address, accompanied by the order summary: MUSEUMEXPERTS - Visitors Service - 9 boulevard de la Madeleine - 75001 Paris.

Unless proven otherwise, the data recorded by the Company constitutes proof of all transactions between the Company and its Customers.

The data recorded by the payment system constitutes proof of financial transactions.

Securing payments and personal data

Payment security The Sites are subject to a security system. The Company has adopted the SSL encryption process of the company STRIPE which encrypts and secures confidential information.
Personal data The Company, as data controller, processes the Client's personal data in the context of managing their order and their commercial relations with the Company, in execution of these General Pre-registration Conditions.

This information and personal data of the Client are also processed for security purposes in order to comply with the legal and regulatory obligations of the Company as well as to enable the Company to improve and personalize its services. Depending on the choices of the Client in the context of his request for participation, the latter may also be required to receive by all channels commercial proposals and news relating to the activity and services of the Company. Where applicable, the Client's data may be processed, on the basis of the consent that he may withdraw at any time, to send him by all channels commercial proposals and news concerning other events of MUSEUMEXPERTS and/or their partners.

Only the Organizer's internal teams and the service providers connected with the organization and management of the Exhibition that it has authorized have access to the personal data concerning the Client. Where applicable, they may also be communicated to third parties according to the choice expressed by the Client (partners and/or entities of MUSEUMEXPERTS).

The personal data to be provided on a mandatory basis are indicated as such on the forms and are necessary for the conclusion and execution of the contract between the Client and the Company. Without this data, the Company will not be able to process the Client's requests.

In accordance with the applicable regulations, the Customer has a right of access, a right of rectification, a right to delete personal data concerning him and, if applicable, a right to object to the processing of his data, a right to erasure and limitation of processing as well as a right to the portability of his data. The Customer may exercise these rights at any time by contacting the Company online or by mail to the company MUSEUMEXPERTS – 9 boulevard de la Madeleine 75001 Paris - France or by email to contact@sitem.f .

The Customer finally has the right to file a complaint with the National Commission for Information Technology and Civil Liberties (CNIL).

Confirmation of pre-registration request

Please note that the Company will systematically confirm each Client's pre-registration request by email.

In the absence of confirmation by email, please alert the Company by email at contact@sitem.fr .

Provision of access tickets

At the end of the order placed and paid for online or once payment has actually been made by check or transfer, the Company will send the Customer an email inviting them to print their attached Access Ticket(s) in PDF format, on a standard printer (inkjet or laser) using an internet connection.

A PDF will be generated per Access Title.

Each Access Ticket is STRICTLY personal (an identity check of the bearer may be carried out at the entrance to the Exhibition) and non-transferable.

It is specified that the Access Titles are also available on the Site in the Client's personal space.

Conditions for printing and validity of the Access Title

To be valid, the Access Title must be printed in portrait (vertical) mode, on a white A4 sheet, blank on both sides, without changing the print size.
Please note that with the exception of mobile phones and tablets, no other media (computer screen, etc.) are accepted.

Access Titles must have good print quality.

Partially printed, soiled, damaged or illegible badges will not be accepted and will therefore be considered invalid. In the event of poor print quality, it is the Customer's responsibility to reprint their Access Ticket.

The Access Tickets are provided with a unique barcode allowing access to the Exhibition by a single person for the duration of the validity of the said Access Ticket. The validity of the Access Tickets is checked at the entrance to the Exhibition using barcode readers.

It is prohibited to reproduce, duplicate or counterfeit the Access Title in any way.

Consequently, the Company may refuse entry when several prints, reproductions, copies or imitations of the same Printable Home Access Ticket are in circulation and access to the Exhibition has already been previously granted to the holder of a print, reproduction, copy or imitation of the corresponding Access Ticket.

The Company declines all responsibility for anomalies which may occur during the ordering, processing or printing of the Access Ticket.
In the event of loss, theft or unlawful use of the Access Ticket, no duplicate or certificate of any kind whatsoever will be given to the Customer, other than the sole Access Ticket printable by the Customer.

Readers present at the stands

Badge readers will be present on the stands of certain exhibitors.
By presenting his badge in front of a reader, the Customer accepts that his personal data (surname, first name, email address) will be transmitted directly to the exhibitor so that he can send him commercial offers.
If the Client does not wish to transmit his data on a stand, it is his responsibility not to present his badge in front of the reader of the exhibitor concerned. The data from the badge readers will also be processed by the Company for statistical purposes and to analyze the attendance of the stands and the interaction with the visitors.

Cancellation, modification of order, refund, use

Any order placed online is firm and final and irrevocably commits the Customer to full payment of the price.

Consequently, no refund will be made for any reason whatsoever, particularly in the event of partial or total cancellation of an order.
Similarly, the Company will not make any changes to the Access Titles ordered (name of the bearer, position, company, etc.).

In this regard, the Customer is invited to carefully check the data provided before confirming their order.

No right of withdrawal In accordance with article L 221-28 of the Consumer Code, access tickets to fairs and exhibitions are not subject to a right of withdrawal.

Please note that Access Titles are non-transferable.

The illegal sale of access tickets on public property, in a private place or on the internet is a criminal offence punishable by questioning and arrest by the police, punishable by a fine of €15,000 (art 313-6-2 of the Penal Code).

Upon announcement of the cancellation or a change in the date or time of the Exhibition for which the Client has ordered one or more Access Tickets, the Client accepts that the Company may use the contact details entered by the latter when ordering online to inform him/her of the procedure to follow.

In the event of cancellation of the Exhibition by the Company due to the occurrence of a case of force majeure, within the meaning of French case law, the Company will notify the Customers without delay.

In such a case, there will be no claim for damages and the sums received by the Company will be returned to the Client.

Right to image

The Client expressly authorizes, free of charge, the Company and the Beaux Arts & co Group:

  • to take, if he so wishes, photos and/or films representing him, as a visitor, during the Show or events organized on the occasion of the Show;
  • to freely use these images on all media, including advertising (including the Internet), in France and abroad and for a period of five years from the validation of the pre-registration request.
The Client who does not wish to be represented in photographs and/or films taken during the Exhibition must notify the Company in writing before the Exhibition opens.

Furthermore, the Client who wishes to take photographs of the Salon must inform the Company in advance in writing.

In this respect, the Client will be personally responsible for obtaining the necessary authorizations for the shots taken during the Exhibition and will be solely responsible for respecting the image rights enjoyed by each exhibitor, visitor and participant in the Exhibition.

External links

The Site may provide access to partner sites of the Company via hypertext links or by integrating content from partner sites into the Site.

The Company declines all responsibility concerning their content, legality and operation and cannot be held responsible for the use that may be made of them by users.

Intellectual property

All elements, texts, logos, images, sound elements, software and icons contained in the Site or reproduced on said Site are protected by intellectual property law throughout the world.

Consequently, it is prohibited to modify, represent or reproduce, in whole or in part, the Site and its content, regardless of the medium and process used.

Applicable law, disputes

The pre-registration offered by the Company on the Site is subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, the courts of the Company's registered office shall have sole jurisdiction.
